Small group training consists of one trainer working with a group of two to four clients.
Keeping the group to an 4-person max allows the personal trainer to build a connection with each individual while also giving proper attention to each participant's safety, form, and alignment and designing a program to meet the groups goals.
Functional Fitness is a core strength and conditioning program, designed to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible.
It is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of 10 fitness domains. They are cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.
